Overview

Korkers Footwear is a heavy-duty footwear brand with 60 years expertise in the interchangeable Sole System (OmniTrax).

Korker's proprietary OmniTrax technology allows for customized traction on the fly with the most design options to choose from in the industry.

Korkers secures sales through their direct-to-consumer e-commerce channel and retail locations. Marketing efforts needed to be divided for these two sales channels, so they could be properly tracked for efficacy.

The Challenges

The biggest obstacle in my mind would be the implementation risk, due to the risk, controlling cost and aggressive timeline.

If I hadn't gotten great referrals about Y-Verge from TREW Gear and Portland Product Werks, I would not have felt confident in making the selection.

It is nice to see all of Y-Verge customers have worked with and understand their successes, but at the end of the day the validation from other like companies is what made me feel like Y-Verge was the right choice for us.

Y-Verge implemented Shopify to make a distinction segmentation between the e-commerce and retail store data. Custom landing pages and automated email marketing gave each customer with a considerate purchasing experience, based on their interests, preferences and needs through the entire buying process.

What I liked most is that their commitment to the project. Y-Verge are available by phone or email almost all the time, even off business hours. I like the fact that Y-Verge are invested in the project and the people. Other benefits are the unique apps that Y-Verge have created to compliment Shopify and the extensive knowledge of Drip Email Marketing Automation.

I wanted our digital marketing and e-commerce efforts to be more of a "system", rather than fragmented bunch of apps and channels.

Y-Verge has created the foundation of a system that allows all things to be connected and operate in unison vs. independently. This makes managing channels easier and allows us to send more consistent messages to our customers and prospective customers
